Our Story
From Scotland roots to our farm to your home, we are excited to breath life to Thistle and Hemp Farms, an all-natural Hemp company located in Montgomery, MN. As part of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Hemp Pilot Program, our first successful crop was harvested in the fall of 2019 and we couldn’t be more excited! We are proud to bring you the highest quality standards and CBD products in the market.
While our brand tells a story, our Company Mascot carries robustly our values. The Scottish Highland Cattle, originating in the Scottish Highlands - a historic region in Scotland, is a vital part to our team. This breed is the adorable popular hairy cow you see in refined artwork. This old Scottish Breed with long horns and long shaggy coats were first mentioned in the 6th century AD. Its expansive history combined with attributes of endurance, fortitude, but also nobility, goes in sync with our company brand characteristics. Also common throughout the highlands of Scotland is the prickly purple Thistle that has been Scotland's national emblem for centuries. Hemp and Thistle both have a long list of healing properties and health benefits, thus how our company name, Thistle and Hemp, was founded.
